April brings Pesach and Spring Break--and fortunately, they
overlapped this year. So, the kids and I went to Chicago to spend Pesach
with our extended family.
Sam and Laura hosted a lovely Seder…and it’s clear, Jennica
and Sam took quite a liking to each other
We managed to get a “real” family picture of Sam and Laura
with her family (don’t know why that was about the only
“posed” picture I took!)
Rachel sang the Four Questions--she has a beautiful voice--and
this picture of Sarah and Rachel just amazes me—although
they’re probably sick of hearing how big they’ve grown!
Jennica and Jordan got a lot of cuddling with Aunt Bobbi and
Uncle Sherwin—and I can’t believe how much they both look like
Aunt Bobbi!
Uncle Sherwin made Jordan play checkers by the rules—all of a
sudden Jordan wasn’t the constant winner anymore!
I think Uncle Sherwin won the checkers championship of the
Universe, but it was close!
We spent one windy day at Lincoln Park Zoo—do notice the snake
that Jordan and Jennica are playing with!
It took a while to get a picture of the seal actually swimming
above water!
We took my grandmother to lunch one day—and then hung out at
her apartment for a while.
