A hard and special time in any mother's life

Between reading, experiencing, and talking to other women, I've learned some things about pregnancy and labor.  Probably the most important thing is that we're all different.  One woman's pregnancy and labor experiences may not have anything to do with another's--for that matter, they may not having anything to do with her other experiences!

I'll remind everyone who reads this that I am not a medical professional of any sort, just a reasonably well-read woman who has been through two pregnancies of her own.  If you wonder if you should call your doctor, the answer is probably "Yes, you should."  After all, that's what they're there for, and the nurses in your doctor's office are quite used to answering questions from concerned pregnant women.

I've taken some of the things I've written about and collected them here.   And if your experiences are different, I hope you can rejoice in the outcome as much as I have!
