| Well, I got my motorcycle permit--that
gives me permission to ride during the day, without passengers, with
a helmet and eye protection, but not on highways or congested
roadways. (And the clerk wrote on my paperwork to remove the
            'corrective lenses' restriction!)
Ohio has a motorcycle safety program, and one of the courses was
in progress, so I got to watch them riding around in circles in the
parking lot. I'll be taking my class in a couple of weeks. Before
then, I need to get a helmet and gloves.
As it turned out, I didn't ride at all between the time I got the
permit and the time I actually took the class. |
